Como Usar Shall e Will 

Shall e  Will são verbos modais.

USOS

1) Previsões

Usamos shall e will para fazer previsões e expor fatos sobre o futuro.

Exemplos:

We shall need an extra car when he arrives.
(Precisaremos de um carro extra quando ele chegar.)

I shall probably be at home tonight. 

(Provavelmente estarei em casa hoje à noite.)

There will be strong winds tomorrow.
(Haverá ventos fortes amanhã.)

2) Pedido Informal

Usamos Will para pedidos informais. Nesse caso não usamos shall.

Exemplo: 
Will you close the door, please?
(Você pode fechar a porta, por favor?)

3) Sugestões

Podemos usar shall em uma pergunta para sugerir algo. Nesse caso não usamos will.
Exemplos:
Shall we dance?
(Vamos dançar?)

It’s cold in here. Shall I close the door?

(Está frio aqui. Devo fechar a porta?)

Let's go to the beach, shall we?

(Vamos a praia, ok?)

4) I e We

Podemos usar shall em vez de will com os pronomes I e We. Seu uso é mais formal.
Exemplos:

We shall never forget that fact.
(Nunca esqueceremos esse fato.)

I shall be there at 7 o’clock.
(Eu estarei lá às 7 horas.)

Observações

1) Shall é mais formal do que will.

2) Shall é mais comum no inglês britânico. Raramente é usado no inglês americano.

3) Shall é mais comum em perguntas ou quando se oferece algo, sugere alguma coisa ou fazemos convites.

Diferenças entre WILL e GOING TO + Exercícios

Como Usar WILL e GOING TO 

GOING TO

1) Usado para planos fixos, já definidos:
Exemplo:
I’m going to buy a new car next month. 

(Eu vou comprar um carro novo mês que vem.)

2) Para previsões baseadas em evidências:

Exemplo:

Look at the sky. It’s going to rain. 

(Olhe o céu. Vai chover.)

Observação:

No inglês informal falado GONNA é usado no lugar de GOING TO. 

Exemplo:

She's gonna visit us on Sunday. 

(Ela vai nos visitar no domingo.)

WILL 

1) Use WILL em frases com expressões de incerteza. Tais como:

Maybe (Talvez)

I think (Eu acho)

I guess (Eu acho)

I expect (Eu espero)

Probably (Provavelmente)

Exemplo:

Maybe I will travel this year. 

(Talvez eu viaje esse ano.)

2) Para previsões que se baseiam em algo com mais evidência e respaldo:

Exemplo:

I’m sure he will  like her. 

(Tenho certeza que ele vai gostar dela.)

3) Para decisões tomadas no momento em que se fala: 

Exemplo:

Can't you do your homework? No worries, I will help you.

(Você não sabe fazer o seu dever de casa? Sem problemas, eu te ajudo.)
