O Present Continuous na forma Negativa é formado com:

Verbo to Be + NOT + Verbo +ING

Forma Negativa do Verbo Eat (comer)

Forma Extensa	Forma Contraída

He is not eating	He isn’t eating
She is not eating	She isn’t eating
It is not eating	It isn’t eating
We are not eating	We aren’t eating

Exemplos:

He isn't eating now.

(Ele não está comendo agora.)

I'm not studying at this moment.

(Eu não estou estudando nesse momento.)

We aren't cooking.

(Nós não estamos cozinhando.)

They aren't working.

(Eles não estão trabalhando.)

USO:

O Present Continuous é usado para expressar algo que está acontecendo no

momento em que falamos.

(Nós estamos escrevendo)

USO:

O Present Continuous é usado para expressar algo que está acontecendo no momento em que falamos.

Com este uso, o Present Continuous pode vir acompanhado de palavras como:

now = (agora)

at the moment = (no momento)

right now = (agora mesmo)

Exemplo:

They are traveling at the moment.

(Eles estão viajando no momento.)
