Present Continuous na Forma Negativa

O Present Continuous na forma Negativa é formado com:

Verbo to Be + NOT + Verbo +ING

Forma Negativa do Verbo Eat (comer)

He is not eating	He isn’t eating
She is not eating	She isn’t eating
It is not eating	It isn’t eating

Exemplos:

He isn't eating now.

(Ele não está comendo agora.)

I'm not studying at this moment.

(Eu não estou estudando nesse momento.)

We aren't cooking.

(Nós não estamos cozinhando.)

They aren't working.

(Eles não estão trabalhando.)

USO:

O Present Continuous é usado para expressar algo que está acontecendo no 

momento em que falamos.

Forma AFIRMATIVA do Simple Future Will

Na forma AFIRMATIVA o Simple Future é formado com: 

o auxiliar WILL + o infinitivo do verbo principal sem 'TO' para todas as pessoas.

Exemplo do Verbo TRAVEL (viajar)

Exemplos: 

She will travel next year. 

(Ela viajará ano que vem.)

We will stay home tonight. 

(Nós ficaremos em casa hoje à noite.) 

USOS:

O Simple Future é usado para:

1) Falar de ações que ainda não ocorreram e que ocorrerão em um futuro não-imediato:

Exemplos:

She's sure she will win the championship.

(Ela tem certeza de que vencerá o campeonato.)

He is a smart student. He'll pass the exam. 

(Ele é um aluno inteligente. Ele passará no teste.)

2) Expressar ações completas no futuro:

Exemplos:

She will work in Paris next year. 

(Ela trabalhará em Paris no ano que vem.)

Cars will be more economical in the future. 

(Os carros serão mais econômicos no futuro.)

3) Expressar decisões tomadas no momento da fala:

Exemplo:

The phone is ringing. I'll answer it.

(O telefone está tocando. Eu vou atender.)

4) Em Português, frequentemente usamos o presente do indicativo para expressar ações que, de fato, vão acontecer no futuro, seja ele imediato ou remoto, tais como: "amanhã eu trago", "depois eu te falo","semana que vem eu te entrego", etc. 

Nesses casos, o uso do Simple Future é obrigatório em Inglês. 

Exemplos:

This box is very heavy. I'll help you lift it. 

(Esta caixa está muito pesada. Eu te ajudo a levantá-la.)

Sorry, I forgot to bring your money, but I'll bring it tomorrow.

(Desculpa, esqueci de trazer o seu dinheiro, mas eu o trago amanhã.)

5) O Simple Future também pode ser usado para fazer um pedido a alguém dando um tom bastante educado:

Exemplo:

Will you open the window, please?

(Você poderia abrir a janela, por favor?)

Imperative - Affirmative and Negative Forms + Exercises

Formas Afirmativa e Negativa do Imperativo em Inglês

O Imperativo é usado para expressar uma ordem, um pedido ou um oferecimento.

Forma Afirmativa:

Para formarmos o imperativo afirmativo basta eliminar a partícula to do infinitivo do verbo.

Exemplo: 

to close = fechar

Close the door! 

(Feche a porta!)

Forma Negativa

Para formarmos o imperativo negativo,  basta acrescentar DON’T ou DO NOT antes do verbo no infinitivo sem o to.

Exemplo:

to speak = falar

Don’t speak so loud! 

(Não fale tão alto!)

Se a situação pedir, use a palavra PLEASE (por favor) quando não quiser parecer rude ou grosseiro. 

Exemplos:

Open the door, please.

(Abra a porta, por favor.)

Please, don't be late.

(Por favor, não se atrase.)

USO:

O Present Continuous é usado para expressar algo que está acontecendo no momento em que falamos.

Com este uso, o Present Continuous pode vir acompanhado de palavras como: 

now = (agora)

at the moment = (no momento)

right now = (agora mesmo)

Exemplo:

They are traveling at the moment. 

(Eles estão viajando no momento.)
