Formas Afirmativa e Negativa do Imperativo em Inglês
O Imperativo é usado para expressar uma ordem, um pedido ou um oferecimento.
Forma Afirmativa:
Para formarmos o imperativo afirmativo basta eliminar a partícula to do infinitivo do verbo.
Exemplo:
to close = fechar
Close the door!
(Feche a porta!)
Forma Negativa
Para formarmos o imperativo negativo, basta acrescentar DON’T ou DO NOT antes do verbo no infinitivo sem o to.
Exemplo:
to speak = falar
Don’t speak so loud!
(Não fale tão alto!)
Se a situação pedir, use a palavra PLEASE (por favor) quando não quiser parecer rude ou grosseiro.
Exemplos:
Open the door, please.
(Abra a porta, por favor.)
Please, don't be late.
(Por favor, não se atrase.)
