Como Dizer Datas em Inglês + Exercícios (Parte 1)

Como perguntar a data em inglês?

What day is today?

(Que dia é hoje?)

ou
What’s the date today? 

(Que dia é hoje?)

As datas no inglês americano são escritas colocando o nome do mês, seguido do número ordinal do dia e uma vírgula seguida do ano.

Exemplo:

July 24th, 2019 

(24 de Julho de 2019.)

Como se fala: 

July twenty-fourth, twenty nineteen

O dia é sempre falado no ordinal. 

O uso da terminação do ordinal (st,nd,rd e th) é opcional na escrita, mas na fala é obrigatório.

Note que o ano é dividido em duas partes, e escritas separadamente:

2019 = twenty nineteen 

(vinte dezenove).

Os meses em inglês são sempre escritos com letra Maiúscula:

Para formarmos uma oração INTERROGATIVA no Simple Present usamos:

O verbo auxiliar DO antes dos Pronomes  I, You, We, You e They . 

O verbo auxiliar DOES antes  dos Pronomes He, She e It.
