EXEMPLOS:

I have been working as a lawyer for 10 years.
(Eu trabalho como advogada há 10 anos.)

You have been talking on the phone since I got home.
(Você está falando ao telefone desde que eu cheguei em casa.)

He has been studying hard. 

(Ele está estudando bastante.)

She has been playing the piano for one hour.
(Ela está tocando piano há uma hora.)

It has been raining for one hour.
(Está chovendo há uma hora.)

We have been studying for three hours. 

(Nós estamos estudando há três horas.)

They have been playing chess for two hours.
(Eles estão jogando xadrez há duas horas.)

Usos do Present Perfect Continuous

O Present Perfect Continuous é usado para:

1) Falar de uma atividade que começou no passado e que continua até o presente, enfatizando a duração ou a intensidade da ação.

Nesse caso, para expressar o tempo, geralmente usa-se:

 for, since, all day, all morning, all week, etc.

Exemplo: 

He has been praying for half an hour.
(Ele está rezando há meia hora.)

2) Falar sobre ações passadas que acabam de ser concluídas, cujos efeitos ou consequências são evidentes no presente:

Exemplo:

I'm tired because I've been runnnig. 

(Estou cansado porque eu estava correndo.)

Diferença entre:

Present Continuous X  Present Perfect Continuous X Present Perfect Simple

O Present Continuous expressa uma ação que está ocorrendo no momento, agora:

Exemplo:

He is making a pizza now. 

(Ele está fazendo uma pizza agora.)

O Present Perfect Continuous expressa uma ação que começou no passado e 

continua até o presente:

Exemplo:

He has been making a pizza for half an hour. 

(Ele está fazendo uma pizza há meia hora.)

O Present Perfect Simple expressa ações que acabaram em um tempo não definido no passado:

Exemplo:

He has made a pizza. 

(Ele fez uma pizza.)
